Attention Prospective St. Stephen’s College Lower Six Students, Parents and Guardians!

The Board of Management, Acting Principal and Staff of our College wish to extend congratulations to all students on their success in the Caribbean Secondary Examination Certificate (CSEC) examinations!

The increasing demand of today’s globalized society requires that you utilize every opportunity for educational advancement. Thus, suitably qualified students are invited to apply for the Advanced Level (CAPE) Programme at St. Stephen’s College.

Please note that selection for admission to pursue studies at our CAPE programme is guided by the following:

  • Passes in at least five (5) subjects including English A and Mathematics.
  • Requirements of Subject Departments of the College (please see the table on application form).
  • Guidelines from the Ministry of Education.
  • Availability of classroom space and resources.
  • Discipline record of students and respect for climate and culture of school.
  • Contribution to school life.
  • Submission of the Application for Admission to A Level Class.

FOR EXTERNAL STUDENTS ONLY:

The following documents must be scanned and uploaded by external students to our online portal to be considered for our CAPE programme.

  1. CSEC Grade Slip – THIS MUST BE PRINTED AND STAMPED BY YOUR SCHOOL
  2. Birth Certificate
  3. Transfer Forms
  4. A stamped and signed letter of recommendation from either your Principal, Vice Principal or Dean
  5. Vaccination Record

Please provide clear scans of each document and include your child’s/ward’s full name as the person who is uploading the documents. Please also label each file with its correct name, example Birth Certificate, Affidavit, CSEC Grade Slip etc. and check the files before loading to ensure that the correct file is being loaded.

DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION TO PURSUE CAPE SUBJECTS

Students must consult the subject groupings below and make their choices.

Note: In addition to Communication Studies and Caribbean Studies each prospective student must choose a minimum of three (3) subjects from any of the following GROUPS.
