Letters of Commendation

Students have a responsibility to strive for excellence in their academic performance. St. Stephen’s College encourages excellence and rewards students when they make outstanding achievements. At the beginning of each term, we recognize the students who perform well in the previous term’s examinations.

Forms 1 to 3

Students earning an overall average of at least 75% in their end of term examinations earn a letter of commendation for excellence.

Students who maintain an overall average of 70% to 74.9% earn a letter of commendation for steady application.

Students whose average increase by a minimum of 10% from the previous term earn a letter of commendation for vast improvement.

Forms 4 to 6

Students earning an overall average of at least 65% in their end of term examinations earn a letter of commendation for excellence.

Students who maintain an overall average of 60% to 64.9% earn a letter of commendation for steady application.

Students whose average increase by a minimum of 10% from the previous term earn a letter of commendation for vast improvement.

Students are expected to be present to receive their letters of commendation on stage from their form teachers on Commendation Day.
