Movement of Anglican Staff and Students

“ It only takes a spark to get a fire going..?”

“Let your light so shine before men that they may seeyour good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven”, Matthew 5:16

The Movement of Anglican Staff and Students(M.A.S.S.) was introduced by the then Canon Dr. Steve Westin 1992 to encourage Anglicans at the College to illuminate a path of good intentions. Since then, the Holy Eucharist is celebrated every Tuesday when we gather to reflect upon and focus on our faith and duty to others.

The blessings we gain from this interaction redound to the benefit of all at the College. Our students and teachers are responsible for the annual Founders’ Day service where we remember the first martyr and patron saint of our school, St. Stephen. It is a lesson that reminds us of the ultimate sacrifice and faith that we should place in God despite our circumstances. This light never grows dim but illuminates every school function and every activity in which we are engaged.

It took a single spark to ignite the introduction of Catechism classes for Confirmation, and a fund-raiser towards the restoration of the Trinity Cathedral damaged by the 2018 earthquake.
